The Community Justice Action Fund (CJAF), in partnership with Revolve Impact and local organizations in Wisconsin and Texas, launched ELECT JUSTICE, a nonpartisan, multi-platform campaign to engage 500,000 voters in the final month of the 2020 election.
Elect Justice will utilize digital, social media and direct voter contact tactics to engage voters in communities most impacted by gun violence. Powered by thousands of volunteers and committed digital organizers, together we will continue to build tremendous political power while playing a major part in securing victory in 2020 for efforts uplifting community-based efforts to end gun violence.
Led by the Community Justice Action Fund,
Fund, ELECT JUSTICE recruited and trained over 1,000 volunteers on voter turnout messaging and engagement tactics to reach first time and infrequent voters in communities most impacted by gun violence.
The campaign directly - and historically - reached 1.6 million Black and Latinx voters in communities impacted by gun violence across Texas and Wisconsin through phone calls and text messages.
On Sunday, Nov. 1st, ELECT JUSTICE also partnered with Voces de la Frontera for a statewide virtual rally in Wisconsin that included Samuel Jackson, Aloe Blacc, Johnny Gill, Maya Jupiter, Arsenio Hall, and more. The event garnered hundreds of thousands of impressions and helped drive historic number of Black and Brown voters.
